15. Tetor 2024
The motto of this year’s Branchentreff total: GROWINGtogether (“zusammenWACHSEN”) was also the programme, as the Branchentreff on September 25th dhe 26th 2024, was all about joint growth in Europe.
The E/D/E Group had invited around 1600 partners, members, and suppliers from industry and trade from home and abroad to the Leipzig Trade Fair to use this proven concept so that personal encounters could turn into trusting cooperations and lucrative business could grow from business negotiations.
On the EDE International side, members from 13 European countries travelled to Leipzig to hold concentrated, intensive discussions in a pleasant atmosphere without having to take long distances. There were just as many on the supplier side. In addition to guests from Germany, there were also contacts from Switzerland, Austria, the Netherlands, Belgium, France, Poland, Denmark, the Czech Republic, Italy, Slovakia, Hungary, Slovenia, Sweden, Spain, Romania and Ireland.
The lounge of EDE International AG served as a platform for discussions with European members and suppliers, the EHN (European Hardware Network), and the Spanish subsidiary Delcredit España.
Annegret Franzen, CEO of EDE International AG, enthusiastically summed up the atmosphere: “From the many conversations with suppliers and members, I know that the opportunity for cross-border cooperation was very well received. In times of stagnant economic conditions and a tense mood among many market participants, international contacts and the opportunities to gain new markets offer great potential. That is our strength!”
In addition to the opportunities to learn about the various E/D/E services, there was also the chance to meet the contacts of selected areas – such as ETRIS BANK, the Digital Services area, and the Supply Networks/Industrial Services area.
Several industry-specific evening events provided space for personal exchange with the aim of networking, reuniting with old acquaintances, and making new contacts. On the evening of the first day of the fair, the trade fair visitors gathered for a convivial stand party to end the first day together in a relaxed atmosphere.
After two days, Annegret Franzen drew a consistently positive conclusion: “Many of our significant European members have now firmly scheduled the formerly purely German-speaking Branchentreff in their calendars. We will continue to promote and expand this trend of increasing internationalization of the Branchentreff. In this way only can we live up to the motto of the fair: Growing together.”
