“Bye Bye” E/D/E Extranet – Hello myEDEPortal!

Some may remember the early days of the E/D/E partner portal Extranet and wonder where the time has gone: After more than 20 years of faithful service, it is time for the new generation of our portal.

By the end of 2024, the new myEDEPortal will open as the “key” to the private area with content and services. The motto for the start is: “Keep it clean and easy”. This will be followed by the gradual development and controlled activation of all users. EDE International will serve as a pilot with its members – in the first phase, the administrators of the members from Poland, Czech Republic, and Slovakia will gain access. From the beginning of the coming year, all members and suppliers of the E/D/E group will be activated. The goal is to completely replace the E/D/E Extranet and put it into well-deserved retirement during 2025.

What makes myEDEportal special? Not only is the name more modern, but there are also numerous advantages and new functionalities:

• Improved user experience for members and suppliers, such as with up-to-date search, page navigation and filtering options, various personalization and customization options, and overall simple and clear structures, like the single point of touch.
• More convenience for editors and administrators through simplified content management and automated translations, processes, and workflows. Better evaluations and streamlined permissions are also the result.

Thus, the rollout of myEDEportal is not only a technical necessity in terms of future viability and security, but also part of the evolution process within the E/D/E group.

For several months now, the project team has been working intensively with all relevant areas of the E/D/E group to ensure that everything runs smoothly for the partners at the rollout. We are looking forward to the new and improved user experience for all users!
